Ordering a Custom Piñata – How it works

  • First, fill out the request form (located at our main company website) with all the information for us to determine if we are able to customize your piñata request.
  • Next, we will contact you by email to obtain source images if needed.
  • If your request is something we are able to create for you, You will receive an acknowledgement invoice with the total cost noted. You are only required to pay a $10 deposit portion. Once your deposit is received your order goes into production stages.
  • Once your piñata is completed, You will receive a video web link to preview your piñata (360 degree views), accompanied by an order completion invoice.
  • Complete the check out process for the final cost of your order. You buy only if your satisfied with the final outcome of your piñata request.

We do not have any piñatas pre-made for sale. Every piñata we make is custom made to order from start to finish. We require 8 weeks notice before your event. In case of event delay or cancellations, please let us know at least 2 weeks prior to original event date.

** If you are interested in ordering a large quantity of pinatas (3 or more pinatas), please try to give a minimum of 10-12 weeks notice. **

Party Information we’ll need to know:

  • The date of your event.
  • How many piñata participants you expect.
  • Rough age group of piñata participants
  • Your e-mail address.
  • Your party theme
  • What you have in mind for the design. The more specific, the better. Let us know if you have a source image you would like to include.


We require a $50 deposit for all piñata orders. This is a non-refundable deposit that will be applied to the final cost of your piñata order. If for some reason you have to cancel your order, you will not be required to pay for the final cost, however your deposit will not be refunded.


Typically we create character piñata heads. For several reason, one you can fit more goodies inside which is great for lots of party participants, secondly they make for fun party pictures and thirdly we can focus in on the details more so when dealing in a concentrated area. We don’t usually make pull-string piñatas, but we can accommodate your piñata participants because we are able to adjust the strength of the papier-mâché piñata. Piñatas DO NOT come candy filled, but we know good places to recommend.

Plain Sphere $80-$95
Piñata heads with eyes and nose $125-$190
Piñata heads with eyes nose cheeks and ears $185-$275
XL (3 feet -4 feet tall) or Full body piñatas $295-$350

Full logo or mascot piñatas $250-$450 ( depending on complexity)

Rush Fee

We require four weeks notice before your event. Orders not meeting time requirements of eight weeks will be subject to a rush fee of $15 per week shy of the time requirement.

We only create using Papier-mâché

Have you ever bought a piñata from the party store, and been disappointed because come party time it just wouldn’t break open. Well the reason for this is because they are made from corrugated card board. Yep, that’s right, the same corrugated cardboard that moving boxes are made from. Well not ours, we only create our piñatas using 100% Papier-mâché. Click here to read more.

During the customization process, we generally like to conceal confetti within small areas of a piñata, where no one can see. This adds excitement to the piñata festivities. Partygoers know they are getting closer to the goodies when they start seeing brightly colored confetti sprinkle down after each “whack”. Choose up to four colors and we’ll even customize your confetti colors that are inside your piñata.

Shipping Cost

Shipping fees are calculated by UPS parcel services. Due to the large size of the shipment, the most economical services is UPS ground parcel post. Depending on where you are in the US, the shipping cost can be between $35 – $79. For this reason each orders shipping cost is calculated on an individual basis. We always include delivery confirmation, and you are free to ask for shipping insurance at your expense.
