Before you begin, glue down each of the templates onto a sturdier piece of paper/cardboard (see picture). This helps so the template doesn't lift up while you are tracing. Look to your recycling bin for a piece of cardboard, like from a cereal box,or product packaging. You just need something a bit thicker then the poster board.
Print out all three templates. Loosely cut around templates, so that you can place them onto the cereal box. Make sure to place templates within any crease or folds on cardboard. You don’t want your template to be glued down on a fold or crease. Apply a small amount of glue all around the back of template. You can see the outlines of the template from the backside, be sure to apply glue slightly past the outlines. This will ensure that the template doesn’t lift up from cardboard when tracing. Glue down all three templates, pressing down all edge. Let dry for 5-10 minutes.
Once dry, loosely cut out templates so that they are all individual. Then go back and trim exactly on the black outline of each template. Repeat trimming to all three templates. Now your templates are very sturdy and ready to make as many coin decorations as your little heart desires. :o )
