Parties at the park can be the perfect setting for summer birthdays, especially when there is water fun involved. This Scooby Doo party was planned to be just that. This wasn’t just any Scooby doo party; it was a Surfing Scooby Doo party. So the Invitations were customized to match the fun water surfing theme. The party was planned to have lots of water fun including a Big Water slide. Guest’s had a blast cooling off at this Cool Summer Party!
I created all 30 invitations by hand. Some of the pieces I sent off to be printed so they would have a glossy finish. The invitations were created to be interactive, with a pull-tab at the bottom, which triggered Scooby to “ride the wave”. The invitations were sent out accompanied by a map to the party and a list of things that the birthday boy liked (helps give gift ideas). I designed the return address labels to match as well. These cool invitations really had all the invited guests looking forward to this celebration.

This is the Custom Scooby piñata that was created for the party. You can see from start to finish how this papier-mâché creation came together. The piñata was complete with the Scooby’s dog collar. The birthday boy was absolutely ecstatic with his piñata.
