Customize your Piñata Buster Stick

Piñata Buster Sticks usually are sold decorated in a rainbow of colors. Sometimes those rainbow of colors don’t quite match your party theme. So what do you do? Customize, of course!

I will admit I get carried away with the details of a party sometimes, coordinating right down to things like the piñata stick. Consistent color coordinating throughout the party shows my attention to detail. Perhaps yours too if you have read on this far. LOL!

This is a rather simple party detail that doesn’t require much time.

You will need:

• A Stick or A Dowel
• Streamers
• Curling Ribbon
• Scissors
• Tape (Clear and/or Electrical)
• Packing Tape

5 Funny Birthday To do's

When there's a birthday in your family, make their entire day filled with unexpected fun. Surprise the Birthday person with these five fun/funny things throughout their entire day. Besides, this day only comes once a year so make it extra fun for them.

1. Trick Candles - This trick somehow never gets old, even if they are.
2. Extra Taped Presents - Tape all edges of wrapping paper down, watch them attempt to un-wrap.
3. Giant Gift - Wrap a small present inside an Extra large gift wrapped box.
4. Scavenger Hunt - Make them work for their gift, write up clues let the birthday person play detective.
5. Sing Happy Birthday - Using a helium balloon sing to them Chipmunk Style. A choir of chipmunks is even funnier.

Mario Party 5 Birthday Buttons

While I was digging through some of my craft bins, I found these name buttons that I customized several years back. I had originally created one for each party guest that had attended my son’s 5th birthday party. Nametags are a cute party favor keepsake and plus they help when trying to give direction to the kids when it comes time to playing party games.

These buttons were made with my handy-dandy button maker. I used the Mario Party 5 Game guide to scan in the front cover and then add in my own custom details like guests’ name and birthday boys’ party year. I always like to include either the year or the birthday number when I create things like this. It helps document the memories.

In fact it was my daughter who actually spotted these at the bottom of the bin. She was surprised to see these Mario Party buttons. She immediately began asking what I had made them for. Then she spotted one with her name on it. She was ecstatic! Since I had the birthday party number printed right on it, I was able to tell her all about the special day that they were from. Since she was just a little tyke at the time of her brothers 5th birthday, she remembered nothing from the party. However I was able to tell her all about the fun her and her brother had but she didn’t remember.

Scooby Doo Party

Parties at the park can be the perfect setting for summer birthdays, especially when there is water fun involved. This Scooby Doo party was planned to be just that. This wasn’t just any Scooby doo party; it was a Surfing Scooby Doo party. So the Invitations were customized to match the fun water surfing theme. The party was planned to have lots of water fun including a Big Water slide. Guest’s had a blast cooling off at this Cool Summer Party!
