There are two things I like to include in my kid’s birthday invitations, a map with directions, and a gift idea list.
If you take a little extra time to include these two things with your invitaions it will come back around as a time saver for you. Think about it, how many times would this save you from having to relay directions to party guests, or having to answer the question asked by invited guests, “What kind of present should I buy for him or her?”. No matter how much you may be into party planning mode, this question seems to stop you in your tracks, forcing you to suggest a gift idea at the spur of the moment. I find that if I include a list of things my kid enjoys, I don’t encounter the gift giving question so often. In the list I like to point out a varity of things that my child likes such as toys, sports, games hobbies, etc. I also include places they enjoy going like Chucky Cheese, bowling, or skating. I even put stores they enjoy shopping at as well (Toys-r-us, Best Buy, Target, etc.). This helps to give the guest a good basis of what type of gift they would like to give the birthday child. Plus it makes the guest feel like they came up with the idea, as opposed to being told what to buy. Remember guests want to feel that their gift was a great gift and the birthday child really will enjoy it.

Hello,
Do you have a video on how to make these ds invitations? Thank you! Yolanda
This is in the works…No exact post date as of yet. Be sure to stay tuned. :o)
Hi just checking to see if you have posted the instructions for your super cool and creative DS mario invite.
Hi. I have looked everywhere for a punch to create the DS style invitation. Did you creat this template yourself, can I find this at a retail store or can i purchase them from you? Thanks you so much for your time. Any information on how to create the DS invitations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!
Yes, this is a custom designed invitation that I personally created. The DS invitation was re-created using vector shapes in Adobe Illustrator. Being that this is a complex design and even more complex to construct, I have yet to release the “How-to” and the custom template. . .
Having 2 children would keep you very busy. i love the invites and any information as to how you have created them would be really appreciated. i love your website and you should be congratulated.
